Private Duty Nursing

One-on-one skilled nursing at home, coordinated through credentialed independent professionals. Private duty is for situations where a scheduled visit is not enough — a person who needs continuous clinical attention, a family managing a complex condition, or a household that simply wants a nurse present. We match the clinician to the case based on documented experience, licensure, and availability, then coordinate scheduling around the way your household actually runs. Coverage can be a few hours a day, overnight, or continuous.

Concierge Nursing

Premium, on-call private nurse coordination for individuals who want priority access and discretion. Concierge engagements are built around the client's schedule rather than a visit calendar — travel, events, recovery at a second residence, or simply having a clinician reachable when a question comes up. Every professional referred is license-verified, background screened, and insured, and every engagement is confidential by default. Availability is limited by design so response stays fast.

24 Hour Nursing

Around-the-clock skilled coverage at home, coordinated through rotating credentialed nurses. Continuous care requires more than one clinician, and the difference between good and poor 24-hour coverage is the handoff. We coordinate a consistent rotation so the same small group of professionals returns, and so clinical information carries from shift to shift instead of restarting each morning. Suitable for high-acuity conditions, ventilator and airway needs, and situations where a gap in coverage is not an option.

Hospice Care Support

Coordinated nurse support that complements a family's hospice agency during end-of-life care. Hospice provides the plan of care and the interdisciplinary team; what many families discover is that the hours in between can feel long. We coordinate additional skilled presence during those hours — comfort measures, symptom monitoring, personal care, and steadiness for the family. We work alongside your hospice provider, never in place of them, and we do not alter or direct the hospice plan of care.

Palliative Care Support

Comfort-focused nurse coordination for individuals managing a serious illness. Palliative support is not limited to end of life — it applies any time symptom burden, medication complexity, or fatigue makes daily life harder than it needs to be. We coordinate skilled professionals who can monitor symptoms, support medication regimens, assist with activities of daily living, and communicate clearly with the treating physician's office so nothing falls between appointments.

Post-Op Care

Skilled recovery coordination at home after surgery — orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, and more. The first two weeks after a procedure carry the highest risk of a preventable setback: a missed medication, an unnoticed wound change, a fall during a transfer. We coordinate skilled professionals for wound and dressing care, pain and medication support, mobility and transfer assistance, and monitoring for the complications your surgeon asked you to watch for. Coverage scales down as recovery progresses.

Intravenous (IV) Therapy

Specialty infusion coordination at home — IVIG, biologics, anti-infectives, and hydration therapies. Home infusion works when the therapy, the supplies, and a qualified nurse arrive in the same window. We coordinate infusion-experienced professionals with documented competency in PICC lines, implanted ports, midlines, and peripheral access, and we schedule around the pharmacy's delivery timing rather than our own convenience. Every dose is observed, monitored, and documented, with the record communicated back to the ordering pharmacy or prescriber.

Pediatric Care

Skilled pediatric nurse coordination for medically complex children at home. Pediatric cases are matched to professionals with documented pediatric experience — not simply an available nurse — and PALS certification is required for pediatric assignments. We coordinate support for airway and feeding-tube needs, medication schedules, developmental routines, and the school and therapy calendar that most families are also managing. Parents stay in charge of the household; the clinician works within it.

Plastic Surgery Aftercare

Discreet, skilled recovery coordination after cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures. Aftercare is where results are protected: drain management, incision and dressing care, swelling and positioning guidance, medication support, and early recognition of anything that should go back to the surgeon. We coordinate professionals who understand aesthetic recovery and who understand discretion. Care can be arranged at home, at a recovery residence, or at a hotel for out-of-town patients.

Post-Hospital Care

Skilled coordination for the days and weeks after a hospital discharge — at home, on schedule. Most readmissions trace back to something ordinary: a medication reconciled incorrectly, a follow-up appointment missed, a change nobody caught in time. We coordinate skilled professionals to bridge that window — reconciling the discharge medication list, monitoring the conditions the hospital flagged, supporting mobility, and making sure the follow-up actually happens. Coverage can begin the day of discharge.

Wellness Checks

Scheduled or on-demand nurse visits for safety, vital signs, and reassurance. A wellness check is often the right amount of care for someone who is largely independent but living with a chronic condition, recovering from an illness, or living alone at a distance from family. A visit typically includes vital signs, medication review, a look at safety and fall risk in the home, and a written summary the family can actually read. Frequency is set by the family, not by a program.

Medication Management Support

Skilled coordination for complex medication regimens — reconciliation, timing, and adherence. Medication error is one of the most common and most preventable causes of decline at home, and risk rises with every additional prescriber. We coordinate skilled professionals to reconcile the current list against what is actually in the cabinet, organize timing and administration, watch for interactions and side effects, and communicate changes back to the prescribing physician. Administration is provided within the scope of the professional's license and the physician's orders.

Airway / Ventilation Care

Skilled coordination for tracheostomy, ventilator, and complex airway support at home. Airway cases are the least forgiving work in home care, so they are matched only to professionals with documented trach and ventilator competency in the credentialing file — not self-reported experience. Coordinated support includes tracheostomy and stoma care, suctioning, circuit and equipment monitoring, alarm response and troubleshooting, and respiratory assessment. Ventilator settings remain under the direction of the ordering physician and respiratory therapy.

Respite Care

Short-term skilled coverage so family caregivers can rest, travel, or step back. Family caregiving is sustainable only when it is interrupted from time to time, and most caregivers wait far longer than they should before asking. Respite can be a few hours a week, a weekend, or two weeks while you travel. We coordinate a professional matched to the level of care your family member actually needs, so stepping away does not mean stepping down in quality.

In-Home Teaches

One-on-one nurse-led teaching for families learning to support a new diagnosis or device. A hospital discharge teach happens once, quickly, on the worst day of the week. Learning it properly usually needs to happen at home, on your own equipment, without an audience. We coordinate professionals to teach families wound care, tube feeding, injections, glucose monitoring, ostomy care, transfers, and equipment use — at your pace, in your home, repeated until it feels routine.

Client Privacy

Discretion is a baseline at Gulfside, not a premium feature. Every engagement is confidential by design. Protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and is never stored in systems not approved for it. Professionals referred through the registry sign confidentiality agreements before placement, and details of an engagement — including that one exists — are not discussed outside the people who need to know. For clients whose circumstances require additional discretion, we will put the specifics in writing before care begins.

Eating Disorder Centers

Credentialed nurse coverage for residential and day-treatment eating disorder programs. These programs need clinicians who understand meal support, medical monitoring, and the therapeutic frame the program works within — a nurse who is clinically capable but unfamiliar with the setting can undo a great deal of progress. We coordinate professionals matched to the program's model and schedule, for planned coverage, census surges, and call-outs.

Psychiatric Facilities

Credentialed nurse staffing coordination for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. Behavioral health coverage depends on continuity and on clinicians comfortable with de-escalation, observation levels, and medication administration in a psychiatric setting. We coordinate professionals with documented behavioral health experience for per-diem shifts, overnight and weekend coverage, and short-term gaps, and we prioritize returning the same clinicians so patients see familiar faces.

Infusion Pharmacies

Specialty infusion-experienced nurses to extend a pharmacy's clinical capacity in the field. You dispense the therapy; we coordinate the nursing that administers it safely in the home. Professionals referred are experienced in IVIG, SCIG, biologics, anti-infectives, hydration, and vascular access including PICC, port, and midline. Scheduling is matched to your delivery timing, first-dose protocols are respected, and documentation is returned to the pharmacy so your record stays complete.

Drug & Alcohol Rehab Facilities

Credentialed nurse coverage for detox, residential, and outpatient substance use programs. Detox and early residential care carry real medical risk, and coverage gaps are not an acceptable outcome. We coordinate professionals experienced in withdrawal monitoring, medication-assisted treatment protocols, and vital sign and assessment schedules, for planned shifts and short-notice coverage alike.

Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care

Credentialed nurse coverage for SNF and LTC facilities — overnight, weekend, per-diem. Census moves, staff call out, and the shifts hardest to fill are the ones that matter most to survey performance and resident safety. We coordinate RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and HHAs for supplemental coverage, and every professional is license-verified, Level 2 background screened, and insured before the first shift. Routine requests are typically filled within two hours; urgent coverage is targeted under sixty minutes.

Hospice Organizations

Credentialed nurse coverage for hospice agencies — visit overflow, on-call, and continuous-care needs. Hospice census is unpredictable by nature, and continuous care requirements can appear with almost no notice. We coordinate professionals experienced in end-of-life symptom management and family support to extend your team during peaks, cover on-call rotations, and staff continuous-care hours without pulling your own nurses off their assignments.

Surgery Centers

Credentialed pre-op, intra-op, and post-op nurse coverage for ambulatory surgery centers. A surgery center runs on a schedule that does not tolerate a missing nurse — one absence can cost a full block. We coordinate professionals experienced in pre-operative assessment and preparation, intra-operative circulating and scrub support, and PACU recovery, for planned coverage, block expansion, and same-day call-outs.

Home Health Agency Nurse Staffing Support

Credentialed nurse capacity that extends a home health agency's reach during census peaks and gaps. Turning down a referral because of staffing is expensive twice — you lose the admission and you lose standing with the referral source. We coordinate supplemental RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and HHAs so you can accept the case, cover a territory you are thin in, or hold coverage through a vacancy. Every professional referred is credentialed to the standard your surveyors expect.

Hospitals

Credentialed nurse coverage for hospital units — per-diem, float, and short-term assignments. We coordinate experienced professionals for supplemental unit coverage, sitters and observation, and short-term assignments during vacancies or census surges. Credentialing files are prepared to hospital vendor standards, and we work within your existing onboarding and orientation requirements rather than asking you to work around ours.
