Felicia Hernandez-Fortunato, RN is the Owner and Registry Administrator of Gulfside Living Healthcare Services, LLC. She began her career in 1993 as a Paramedic responding to emergencies across South Florida and spent the next two decades serving Southwest Florida as a Paramedic/Firefighter — rising to Lieutenant and Ride-Up Battalion Chief at Estero Fire Rescue before retiring from the fire service after 15 years. Along the way she taught paramedic students at Edison State College and Medical Career Institute, shaping the next generation of first responders in the region she has called home her entire career.

In 2020, Felicia earned her RN and transitioned into critical care at Lee Memorial Hospital, where she served as a Critical Care RN and Charge Nurse for five years — leading teams, mentoring new nurses, and managing complex adult and pediatric patients through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Her clinical work expanded into care management, where she coordinated care for up to 200 high-risk Medicaid members, navigating the gaps in access and continuity that families across Southwest Florida face every day. Gulfside Living was built to close those gaps — connecting facilities, families, and pharmacies with the credentialed, experienced contractors they need, backed by the standards Felicia has held herself to for three decades.

Mayleen Rodriguez

Alternate Administrator

Mayleen Rodriguez serves as the Alternate Administrator of Gulfside Living Healthcare Services, LLC. Healthcare has been her calling for as long as she can remember — a genuine passion for caring for people and a drive to make a real difference in her community — and this is the moment it all comes together. She brings more than four years of health-care administrative experience as a Medical Assistant in Southwest Florida physician practices, including Orthopedic Specialists of Southwest Florida and Millennium Physician Group, coordinating scheduling, records, referrals, and front-office operations. Alongside that clinical-office background, she has spent nine years owning and operating a licensed business — managing staff, scheduling, finances, and state compliance. As Alternate Administrator, she supports the daily operations, compliance, and credentialing that keep the registry running, and steps in for the Administrator whenever needed.
